Fresno Bully Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to saving and caring for dogs in need — especially those who have nowhere else to turn. Recently, our veterinary expenses have soared due to an influx of medical cases and the rising costs of care. From emergency surgeries and wound treatments to ongoing medications and routine procedures, our vet bills have grown far beyond what our regular donations can cover.
Because of this, we’ve had to temporarily pause new intakes so we can focus on the dogs already in our care and ensure they receive the treatment they need and deserve.
Your donation — no matter the size — directly helps cover these medical costs and allows us to continue providing lifesaving care to our current dogs while preparing to open our doors again to others in need.
Your support makes it possible for us to continue saying “yes” to the dogs who need us most. Please consider donating or sharing this campaign.
- Thank you from all of us at Fresno Bully Rescue!
Fresno Bully Rescue (FBR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill rescue and shelter dedicated to saving bully breed dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, and more. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, and loving temporary home while finding forever families for our dogs. As one of the only breed-specific, no-kill rescues in California with a dedicated kennel facility, we house over 40 adult dogs at our shelter, with additional puppies and adults placed in foster homes. Our adoption program is designed to match each dog with the perfect family and provide support to ensure a smooth transition. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Beyond rescue and adoption, FBR is committed to community education, microchipping, and promoting spaying, neutering, and responsible ownership of bully breeds. We also advocate for bully breeds by raising awareness about the illegal practice of dog fighting, particularly in high-risk communities. While in our care, our dogs receive mental and physical rehabilitation, as well as training to prepare them for their new homes. Additionally, FBR offers guidance and support to adopters, helping ensure a successful transition for our dogs into their forever homes.
